I created everydazehaze to enter into the NFT community.
10 Things I’ve Done for Everydazehaze:
- Read a bunch of articles about the NFT art scene
- Created some art
- Created my pen name: everydazehaze
- Ate breakfast (or lunch?) while watching CNBC interview Joseph Pallent founder of Blockchain For Climate, on the affects of energy consumption in the Crypto and NFT world.
- Put together a basic website for everydazehaze where my diary of this whole process will live. Let’s be honest, I don’t think it’s cool to have a website anymore tbh. Instead, NFT Artists have links from their social media to their NFT marketplace of choice.
- Created a vanity email so I don’t come off like an @gmail.com noob
- Created a Twitter for everydazehaze. Tweeted @BlockForClimate about Pallant’s CNBC interview.
- Created an Instagram for everdazehaze
- Drank too much Blackbox Cabernet and had heart palpitations when I had the epiphany that my art theme seems to be ten lines, one color. #10lines1color. I’ll need to start hashtagging with that ASAP.
- Blockchain For Climate became my first twitter follower! #surprised #excited #itstartswith1 #bowshead #tothemoon … ok too much.
Anyway, I’m just getting my feet wet, but I’m going to explore more and report back. And practice some more illustrations.
Also, what ever happened to Aziz Ansari? I think he had a bad date that went public at some point? Or something? But I wish he’d come back. I crave his comedy. He’s been on my mind and *shrugs* I guess this is my diary now so I thought I’d share.
I’ll tweet him too. Then, figure out this whole nft-marketplace-account-wallet-ethereum set up deal. I also need to set up some type of glossary for a breakdown of all of these terms.
Inspiration for Today’s Art in 10 sentences or less:
So far, I thought creating my own “art” was sort of silly. I’m not an artist. But I’ve loved making these simple drawings the last few days. Today I made this, and I love her. I’ve smiled every time I’ve looked at it. I love the simplicity, the shapes. So far, I feel like my art is Picasso-meets-Doug-Funny (anyone else here grow up watching 90s cartoons?). Made using only 10 lines and one color, she gives off so much attitude and personality. This is more fun than I thought!
Cheers,
Everydazehaze
